Answer (1 of 2): This worked for me, found the files at this location (C:\Users\PC\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\File System\), after “File System” you should see lots of folders with numbers, eg ,, , etc, check the most resent number, in my case it was , hope this. So, I had ~3GB free on my local disk and I tried to download a 2GB file. It failed because it said I ran out of disk space. My disk still shows that I have about MB free. According to this post (How exactly does MEGA's download work?), it stores the file then copies it(?) but, the path in the answer is relevant to PC and I'm on a bltadwin.rus: 2. Whenever I download from Mega, I lose a TON of space on my Chromebook's SSD, even though I save the file to a 32 GB flash drive. I'm thinking that Mega is downloading the Data to a temporary place before it sends me the file. and that location still has the data stored and taking up space.
I very rarely have any trouble with Mega. I only have the free option. The only issue is when it gets to the quota limit [which is a strange and random figure - sometines I can DL up to 4Gb, and other times it will say quota used and I have only wanted a sub Kb file - still not managed to figure out what allowance will be available on any given DL session]. The file-storing service Mega usually cuts free users off once they've downloaded around 5GB or so, forcing you to wait hours before you can resume whatever it is you were transferring. It feels. %Temp% will bring you to the users temporary folder where temporary files your applications create are stored, not temporary downloads - though when you donwload software and install it, the installation files are stored there while the installer is loading, but are normally deleted by the installer upon completion.
Hi, so I was browsing bltadwin.ru using Edge InPrivate. Everytime my download quota reached about 2 GB, Mega will cause my Edge to crash. I went to C:\Users\[MyUsernname]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge to search for Mega temporary download folder to make sure temporary files is deleted after InPrivate windows crashed/closed but I couldnt find anything, also Edge doesnt even have folder "File. Whenever I download from Mega, I lose a TON of space on my Chromebook's SSD, even though I save the file to a 32 GB flash drive. I'm thinking that Mega is downloading the Data to a temporary place before it sends me the file. and that location still has the data stored and taking up space. when i'm download a 1GB file (or whatever the size) on bltadwin.ru, the process starts to "pre-download in its own "method" and when once it finishes, it ask you where to stor it on your computer. And it stored it in instant moment! so, before the asking-dialog box, where the temp file is stored?.
