Use requests to download a raw file from bitbucket

I'm trying to update my code to grab the file using the REST API but having a lot of trouble. Before trying to write code I'm simply trying t.  · I have a script which grabs a file from GIT using the bitbucket REST API () however it has recently stopped working. I'm theorizing this may be due to the v1 REST API being depreciated but I'm not sure. Anyway I am trying to retrieve the file using the new REST API but I can't seem to get the syntax right as the request continually fails.  · You can export raw commit and pull request data to CSV directly from Bitbucket. When you click All users in the People dropdown menu at the header, you’ll get to the People page with a global overview of developers’ activity in terms of commits or pull requests. At the top-right corner, you’ll notice the Export menu, where you can choose CSV.


I'm able to access it with PAC in BitBucket version But in v PAC option is not available. Tried using Token authentication x-token-auth but it downloads the file in json format. By this I mean, it would be nice to have a button that when clicked, would download a file summarizing the diff that could be opening in standard diff tools locally to further examine without having to be online/connected to Stash.

Guys i am trying to hit an wall (In powershell i am Trying to download an file(say simple text file) from bitbucket private repository however i am able to download the file, though it is coming as an HTML one not as the raw one). can someone please help me or point it out where i am lacking in the command.
